Thyroid Weight Loss
Well, I have thyroid cancer and had a total thyroidectomy. In preparation for my exams, I had to stop taking all my thyroid hormone (Synthroid), so I am now seriously hipothyroid. The last month and a half, I've been on a diet and exercise at least 5 days a week. Even with my diet and exercise, I have not lost a single pound and actually won something. Is this normal? After that, I made the route so Thyrogen should not stop my medication at all. But Thyrogen is only useful for examinations, not to ablative treatment.
